Here at El Principe Centre we can teach you either in the classroom or by E-Courses online. All courses have been developed especially for English- speakers by English speakers who have learnt Spanish themselves and understand the obstacles we face …

All explanations are in English, on-line support is on hand for internet students, and students are treated individually to suit their level and learning speed. The maximum we accept in a group are 6 students so we can give individual attention and support to all our students

We comprehend the problems English–speakers face in learning a language such as Spanish, with Latin roots. A common question we are asked is “why do they always say it the wrong way round?” We will show you there is no ‘right’ way, just a different way, and we will take you back to basics in understanding the way grammar works in our own language first, breaking down fears and insecurities and building confidence to ensure that the fear of words like ‘verb’ and ‘conjugate’ are distant memories.

Our method is grammar based, but useful grammar, so that before you know it you will be constructing your own sentences and conversations rather than repeating phrases parrot fashion and being at a loss if an unexpected answer is thrown back at you.

There’s no better feeling than when you make yourself understood and achieve a task in a real-life situation, or feel like a veil has been lifted from your ears when you finally understand what is being said to you. We know, because we’ve been there …

Many people ask, how long will it take? We can’t answer this question, as each student is unique. We don’t make wild claims to teach you Spanish in 4 weeks, 3 months, or even a year. We know that learning a language is an on-going process, and it is up to you to decide when you have learnt enough for your needs. You only have to look through an English Dictionary to realise how much you probably still don’t know in your own language!!

What we do promise, is to support you all the way and teach you Spanish in what we think is the simplest way possible.
